- Today’s Podcast is a great music club show from my days with Cool Fm with an Anagram and great music to light up your ears…..
The dreadful events of yesterday’s tragedy in Norway gradually unfolded over the day and the answers are still being sought to the dreadful questions that needed to be asked. Just the logistics of getting help to the people on the island were difficult. The journalists seem to have been present well before the police and I think there will be many meetings to decide why this madman went on the rampage.Whatever the future reveals his handbook he left shows a very clear plan of action which he’d been planning since 2002.
I felt very sad when I heard of the death of Amy Winehouse. I have often said how I felt she was a troubled soul yet I really liked her music. If you’ve never faced an audience you won’t know the mixed emotions of euphoria and fear. You want to give of your best and yet there is the fear of failure. She seemed to have had a very difficult personal life. My friend Tony Hiller is a friend of the family and has often told me of the nicer side of Amy Winehouse that the public rarely heard about.
There is a very disturbing article revealing what scientists are up to in Britain. It would appear they have been trying to create monsters. Here’s the link.
With all the talk of David Haye and the Klitchko Brothers I’d never even heard of Tyson Fury or Dereck Chisora who fought for the British heavyweight Championship last night. Two very contrasting boxers with Chisora looking like a plumper Haye and Fury more in the Klitchko mould. The two were very different in every part of their lifestyle with Chisora driving the flashy cars and Fury living the life of a traveller. Neither fighter had been twelve rounds before and Chisora was throwing the big haymakers whereas Fury was busy with his jab.
I didn’t see it but the reports tell us that Amir Khan had another good day at the office in his fight in Las Vegas.

A young couple moved into a new neighborhood. The next
morning while they were eating breakfast, the young woman
saw her neighbor hanging the wash outside.
“That laundry is not very clean,” she said. “She doesn’t
know how to wash correctly. Perhaps she needs better laundry
soap.”
Her husband looked on, but remained silent.
Every time her neighbor would hang her wash to dry, the
young woman would make the same comments.
About one month later, the woman was surprised to see a nice
clean wash on the line and said to her husband, “Look, she
has learned how to wash correctly. I wonder who taught her
this?”
The husband said, “I got up early this morning and cleaned
our windows.”

WHAT ARE GRANDPARENTS?(Taken from papers written by a class of 8-year-olds) You’ll love it:
Grandparents are a lady and a man who have no little children of their own. They like other people’s.
A grandfather is a man, & a grandmother is a lady!
Grandparents don’t have to do anything except be there when we come to see them. They are so old they shouldn’t play hard or run. It is good if they drive us to the shops and give us money.
When they take us for walks, they slow down past things like pretty leaves and caterpillars.
They show us and talk to us about the colors of the flowers and also why we shouldn’t step on ‘cracks.’
They don’t say, ‘Hurry up.’
Usually grandmothers are fat but not too fat to tie your shoes.
They wear glasses and funny underwear.
They can take their teeth and gums out.
Grandparents don’t have to be smart.
They have to answer questions like ‘Why isn’t God married?’ and ‘How come dogs chase cats?’
When they read to us, they don’t skip. They don’t mind if we ask for the same story over again.
Everybody should try to have a grandmother, especially if you don’t have television because they are the only grownups who like to spend time with us..
They know we should have snack time before bed time, and they say prayers with us and kiss us even when we’ve acted bad.
A 6-YEAR-OLD WAS ASKED WHERE HIS GRANDMA LIVED. ”OH,” HE SAID, ”SHE LIVES AT THE AIRPORT, AND WHEN WE WANT HER, WE JUST GO GET HER. THEN WHEN WE’RE DONE HAVING HER VISIT, WE TAKE HER BACK TO THE AIRPORT.”
GRANDPA IS THE SMARTEST MAN ON EARTH! HE TEACHES ME GOOD THINGS, BUT I DON’T GET TO SEE HIM ENOUGH TO GET AS SMART AS HIM!
It’s funny when they bend over; you hear gas leaks, and they blame their dog.

The Maharishi invited The Beatles to travel with him to Bangor, in North Wales, to attend more lectures. They accepted his invitation. Whether he was a conman or not it the Maharishi is an interesting part of the Beatles story. In the event of modern therapies did the Beatles miss an opportunity
